The Texas Firefighter Summer Games has been in existence since 1983. We are a 501(c)(3) organization. Everyone on the Executive and General Board volunteers their time and energy to help provide a memorable experience for their respective event. We donate between 2,700-3,100 hours of our time each year tothe Games. Each year, starting the 3rd Sunday in July, we bring firefighters from across the state of Texas to our event. We do invite firefighters from the surrounding states (Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas) to participate as well. Last year we had over 1,500 firefighters participate in all our events. Through the years we have managed to cover the costs of our event through entry fees alone. It is our goal to keep costs as low as possible so entry fees can stay consistent. We continually seek out sponsorships to help keep costs down and add socials. Sponsors have been challenging to come by, but we work towards obtaining them. We appreciate your support.
